Ratatouille was DISGUSTING!

I don't get it. Sorry. Rats swarming around food is a gross concept. Where were all the rat droppings? In the food, that's where!

The movie was stomach churning and not funny at all. The great reviews it's getting just proves that critics are either in bed with the studios or have not the sense God gave a banana slug.

You ask where all the rat droppings were? Not only were they in the food, but they were also in the Disney/PIXAR producers' heads (they call them brains); the story, itself, was one BIG rat turd; the two main characters were definitely rat droppings. I can't recall two more unlikable "Main Characters" in any other movie I have seen this year. I also dozed off a couple times throughout the movie. Not even worth the price of a free admission! We really should have walked out on this one.
The Animated Short before the movie had much more going for it!

The thing that disturbed me most were all the rugrats in the theater.

Speaking of rugrats: when I've been to the movies to see a couple of Disney flicks it's been a matinee, both times. The theater was, of course, full of rugrats with mommy or nanny or teenage sitter. I managed to get a seat in the back and to the side, away from the worst of the commotion. But the thing I'm trying to get to, awkwardly, is that when nature called and I had to make a run to the Men's, the lobby was wall to wall kids with minders. A two or three year old has the attention span of a gerbil and so no more than 15 minutes into the movie they start dragging their mommies or nannies up the aisles because 1) they can't sit still much longer than that and 2) all that sound and motion on the big screen is utterly incomprehensible to the little buggers. My point? What possesses the parents to take them to these things? It has to be totally exhausting to entertain or divert the little darlings in a dark movie lobby. But that's what going to the movies amounts to for these kids. Well, that was much ado about nothing.
